What is the Youth Engagement Model?
This practice model was developed with current and former youth in foster care, families, service providers, local and state child welfare staff, and community leaders. The purpose of the model is to address individual needs, ensure the involvement of youth, improve services to youth, and to draw on the experience and recommendations of youth to enhance child welfare policy and practice.
What does the Model Include?
