If you need help with a civil legal problem, you can call the Maryland Legal Aid office nearest to you, go to that office on the days and times when walk-in intake is open, or apply for legal help online.

Maryland Courts provides free legal help in civil cases for individuals who do not have a lawyer. Individuals can watch a short introductory video about the walk-in (in-person) self-help centers or the call or chat services.

The Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council is dedicated to advancing the inclusion of Marylanders with developmental disabilities in all facets of community life.

DRM provides free legal services to Marylanders of any age with all types of disabilities (developmental, intellectual, psychiatric, physical, sensory, learning, traumatic brain injury), who live in facilities, in the community or who are homeless.
