The MCAC is open to all high school students. The goal of the college campaign is to increase the number of first generation and low-income students, unaccompanied and foster care youth, and others underrepresented in higher education.

FAQs for the Maryland State Financial Aid Application (MSFAA)

The Educational Opportunity Center provides information and assistance to low-income, first-generation college-bound citizens in Prince George’s county age 19+ to gain admission and obtain financial aid for post-secondary education enrollment.

The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student services programs designed to identify and provide services for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Maryland Tuition Waiver provides exclusion of paying tuition costs for both credit bearing and non-credit bearing courses as well as mandatory fees at any Maryland public institution of higher education.
